This Year in Reiki 2010

As always, I am grateful to the Reiki energy and the PTB for sending abundance my way. I continue to correspond with my students, past, present and future. It is a great joy to do so. We have done a number of drumcircles and workshops this year, and each one of them was different in a joyful way.

Joan Bright achieved Reiki Master status on May 11, 2010, and I know she will be a wonderful Reiki Master/Teacher just as she was a wonderful student. She is currently looking for a place/space to practice Reiki. Contact Joan at jb135709@gmail.com.

Tara Gallus, Who received her Reiki Master training from me, attuned her first Reiki master this year. Tara also opened her own place, Lehigh Valley Reiki, where she teaches other students and gives Reiki treatments. Contact Tara at tgallus@gmail.com.

Jim Gobs, a Reiki 2 student, hosted a cookout on July 11, 2010. Of course we had a drumcircle at the workshop!

Valeria Christopher, another student of mine and a Reiki Master, attuned her daughter, Michelle, to Reiki 1. Valeria is in the planning stage of starting her own Reiki practice. Contact Valeria at 123valee@yahoo.com.

I have been holding Reiki shares for my students, and I have decided to open the shares to any attuned Reiki practitioner who wants to attend. Everyone who attends receives a group healing treatment, and experiences what it is like to be part of a group healing team. Amanda Zaniesienko, a local artist, has been busy painting more drums for me, and you can see them on the drum album on my website www.reikidrumbeat.com. We went to the MUM Expo (Metaphysical Universal Ministries) in May of 2010. I am proud to say that many of the drums I sold were bought by other vendors at the Expo.

There will be another MUM show on September 18-19, 2010. We look forward to seeing you and other friends there. For those of you who have never been to MUM, it is held at Ag Hall in Allentown, PA. I know I am repeating myself, but it is one of the best, most professional shows I have ever attended.

I have been receiving training about aromatherapy and essential oils from Lucey Harley, luceyharley@aol.com who is a full-time distributor of Young Living essential oils. Due largely to her tutelage, I have also become a distributor for Young Living oils. This has become a part of my life and my Reiki practice. I frequently use Young Living oils during a Reiki treatment. Watch the ‘upcoming events’ section of this website for a workshop of “Young Living Essential Oils in your Reiki practice” sometime in the future.

Last but never least, I would like to thank my Webmaster, Deb Phillips, for the wonderful job she does with this website. She created the site herself and does all of the updates for me. The great pictures in the drum album section of this website are often the result of her editing. You can see she is truly an artist.
